WHAT IS AGRIBUSINESS?
Agribusiness is the term given to industries dealing with agricultural production and services. It includes all activities involved in the production, processing and distribution of food and fibre products. In a world of increasing globalisation, people with agribusiness skills are in high demand. Given Australia’s strong reliance on agricultural exports, a solid future exists for soundly trained agribusiness managers and administrators. |

Management techniques, business philosophies, economic views, marketing strategies and administrative practices are all important aspects of the course.
Exciting and intensive national and international study tours feature throughout the Agribusiness Program. The objective of the tours is to expose students to up-to-date business management techniques, to listen to progressive agribusiness operators outlining their approach to management and to provide training that is not available by classroom tuition.
Past international tour groups have visited New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia and China – just some of Australia’s trading partners.
