Richard’s dream of being a farmer on a sheep property soon changed after commencing the Farm Business Management course in 1992 at Marcus Oldham College. The two important things from the course that changed his mind were 1) farming is a business that at times can be high capital and low yielding, and 2) there are other ways to make an easier living with agribusiness.

Rabecca’s dream of becoming a veterinarian came to fruition after completing an equine course at Marcus Oldham College in 2000. After graduating from Marcus Oldham College Rabecca joined Matamata Veterinary Services as an Equine Technician. The knowledge gained from the Diploma provided a solid base for the Equine Technician duties at Matamata Veterinary Services and the work then lead to her decision to pursue Veterinary Science.
