Deputy Director, CSIRO Sustainable Agriculture Flagship
Peter Stone is Deputy Director of CSIRO’s Sustainable Agriculture Flagship, whose research seeks to increase Australian and global agricultural productivity and food security.
His work history includes farming, food industry consulting and grain marketing. He has worked as a research agronomist throughout Australia and overseas.
He has also worked as a crop agronomist, gained industry experience through working for the Australian Wheat Board and has spent time in academia at the University of Melbourne.
CEO, Vicstock Grain Pty Ltd
Harold Sim is the Chief Executive Officer of Vicstock Grain Australia.
He is also a Director of HFA Australia; subsidiary company of BDH Group China, the world’s biggest grain grower, producing nearly 20 million ton of cereal grains globally.
Harold is responsible for the overall management and strategy of Vicstock Grain.
Over the last 10 years Harold has been involved with agribusiness and is in a close working relationship with China’s leading private and state-owned agricultural and livestock enterprises.
Miho Kondo joined MLA in 2006 and is currently responsible for implementing a range of trade and strategic initiatives for the Japanese market – the largest and most valuable export destination for Australian beef.
Miho specialises in providing market analysis and insights to Australian and Japanese industry stakeholders, and facilitating projects that range from consumer research to market access or producer rapport programs.

Glen Fisher is an Industry Analyst with Dairy Australia and has been in the role since May 2012 covering developments in the Australian dairy industry from farm to supermarket with a focus on the manufacturing sector, local and international product markets and trends.
Glen is a regular contributor to industry and trade publications as well as Dairy Australia’s Situation and Outlook report.
