The College Foundation was launched in 1989 to further develop Marcus Oldham as Australia's independent centre of excellence in rural and equine business management education.
The Foundation Executive is made up of a diverse and dynamic group of business professionals, farmers and past graduates of the College to propel the vital goals of the Foundation.
The aims of the Foundation are to develop and advance the College within agriculture and equine industries throughout Australia on a national and international basis and to encourage sponsorships for various scholarships and bursaries for Marcus Oldham College.

April 2012 – A luncheon was held at Murradoc Farm, Drysdale on Wednesday 18 April. A memorable day where Marcus Oldham had the pleasure of announcing that the college was a recipient of a most generous gift – “Murradoc Farm” – given to us by Philip Myer and his family. The College was delighted to name the new campus after Philip’s mother, Prudence Myer and the CSRA Forum Series after his grandfather Douglas Boyd. The gift is approximately worth $3.8million. The aim of The Oldham Society is to seek support for the College through bequests as part of the Foundation activities. The Oldham Society will enable benefactors to be recognised and thanked during their lifetime, (benefactors can remain anonymous).

HOW IT WORKSIt’s easy to support the future stars of Australian agribusiness. The Marcus Oldham Cattle Club ‘The Herd’ purchases one of your cows for an agreed market value (no more than $1000). You then run an unidentified cow on your property and guarantee to commit to Marcus Oldham the agreed market value of one calf, each year, for six consecutive years.
